Contactless-enabled bank cards or credit cards
- Just look for the little contactless symbol on your card (hint: it looks like a wave)
- Such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and Fitbit Pay
- Buy these on the GO Miami-Dade Transit app
- Contact the EASY Card Customer Service team to load passes and add store value to your EASY Card. The EASY Card Contact Center is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except County-observed holidays, at 786-469-5151 or at [email protected]
- EASY Cards are available for purchase at various sales outlets throughout the County
- Register your EASY Card online or by calling 786-469-5151 to receive balance protection if the card is lost or stolen
- Pro tip: re-load your EASY Card online via the Transit Store to avoid having to do so in person at the ticket vending machines or sales outlets.
- Cash payment will be accepted to ride Metrobus and at all Ticket Vending Machines to purchase an EASY Card or fare product.
- Fare capping: Don’t know if you’ll be taking one or a few trips on transit? Not a problem! Once you’ve tapped your EASY Card (with stored value) or contactless-enabled bank card/digital wallet to start your trip, your total cost will be capped once you reach the cost of a 1-Day Pass. This means you won’t pay more than $5.65 per day for unlimited rides on Metrorail or Metrobus when using the same contactless-enabled bank card/digital wallet.
- One tap ride: Metrorail riders don’t have to tap out to exit the system. A one-time tap to enter the system is all that’s needed.
- Mobility EASY Card: Miami-Dade County residents whose annual income is less than $20,385 may qualify to ride Metrobus and Metrorail free of charge with the Transit Mobility EASY Card.
- Commuter-Reduced Fare: Miami-Dade County residents, whose annual income is between $20,386 - $27,180 can ride Metrobus and Metrorail for half the price with the Commuter-Reduced Fare EASY Card.
For additional information about free or reduced fare passes, contact the EASY Card Customer Service team, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except County-observed holidays, at 786-469-5151 or via email at [email protected] .
